I enjoy studying at the University of Glasgow because it not only suggests the excellent quality of studies, but also provides students with an opportunity to broaden their minds while engaging in supplemental activities.

The 'student support' is virtually non existent. I am in my fourth year of study here and have never met my advisor, nor had them reach out to be in the entire duration of study. Furthermore, staff always point you in someone else's direction making it extremely hard to get an answer to any of your question regarding both personal life, accommodation, well-being and studies. This university is based on profit and no longer feels authentic.

We have two hours contact time per week including both lectures and seminars. This is bizarre and I would be extremely disappointed if I was paying for this. The lecturers for CEES care a lot about you which is really nice- this is common for a small department and makes the time at Glasgow uni very enjoyable. I think some departments are favoured more highly than social sciences and the university definitely allocate funding for resources according to priority and which course has a higher student intake due to profits etc.
