Had the best time here and will be very sad to leave! Loved living in halls in my first year and in Selly Oak for the rest of my time here. It's a great place to be if you prefer a campus uni like me. The campus at UoB is beautiful and I'm always bumping into people I know. There's also the option to jump on a train to New Street and be in Central Birmingham in no time. It's a great all-rounder!

Large campus with everything you could possibly need. Loads of computers available and new library being built which will vastly improve studying on campus around exam time.

Very active SU. Plus Fab, the SU night on a Saturday, is so much fun! My friends who have visited from other uni's loved it and were jealous their SU nights were so rubbish in comparison.

Second biggest city in the UK so there are loads of events on all year round. Really central and easy to travel elsewhere. Will definitely consider staying and working in Birmingham when I graduate.

A first glimpse of the Societies Fair at the start of the year will show you how much there is on offer here. It fills the SU and spills out into a marquee outside. Loads of opportunities with sports too.

Very enthusiastic and approachable lecturers in my department (Modern Languages).

There's a lot of support and advice available on campus and online, as well as loads of opportunities to attend talks and fairs. Plus a lot of careers events take place at the NEC. Perks of going to uni in Birmingham.

I stayed in cheaper accommodation in Pritchatt's Park which was great but a lot of new developments seem to be high-end accommodation. They need to keep a good variety of accommodation available.
