Library facility is top notch but the distance of the library from my building is too much.

The good part is that the lecturers genuinely care not only as an obligation and they are ready to help anytime

The university experience overall has been very enjoyable! The work is of course hard, but the tutors and university have been able to help me through everything and enable me to succeed in my studies. The equipment and facilities are varied and easy to access, and there are a plethora of usable study spaces around all of the campuses.

The architecture department has a wide range of tools and equipment, from drawing desks and plotter printers to the workshop. Everything is fairly easy and fairly accessible (even during COVID) and so there are plenty of resources available to use.

I am on the autistic spectrum and because of this I have a number of difficulties In my work, but the university has been very accommodating towards my difficulties and have offered a wide range of learning support options for me to explore.

Whilst normally the course is taught in person, it is currently being taught over MS Teams. Usually we’ll have two session a week where we can talk through our ideas and present work that we then get feedback on.

The university has a number of links to architectural practises both locally and further away, so it is quite easy to gain access to people who would be able to accept you onto a part 1 assistant tenure after the undergraduate.
