Facilities could be better. A few times now lessons have been cancelled because we couldn’t access our one drive, the Remote Desktop is very temperamental and sometimes (more recently) my work hasn’t been saving properly, leading to hours of work lost.

The course content is more focused in other parts of the industry. There are only a select few modules which are aimed at what we will be doing in industry. It is good to gain an understanding on what other members in the industry will be doing, but I cannot say I have the confidence to move into industry and meet expectations at this current level. If there were more focused modules, then it would be more comforting. Lecturers are now having to teach us things that, “We should know by now” because we haven’t had any coverage over them (for example, certain softwares, documents, etc).

Leeds Beckett is a great place to study the library is unique and efficient. The facilities are useful. There’s a problem with having to pay for everything, the printer's which barley even work most of the time, paper, pencils. We have to buy model materials, which aren’t cheap. On the other hand I feel like student support from teachers is helpful, from specific teachers. But when having an online lecturer and they don’t respond to your email from the start of semester, and still haven’t done. I think is out of order as how am I meant to even communicate, ask questions outside of my one hour online lecture a week? This is something that needs to be sorted out asap!! However, the facilities provided are great and useful in some aspects on my course. The Leeds Beckett log in system is dreadful and needs updating as I have to log in 3-4 times before I can even get onto my account?

The best aspects of my course is that I can think freely and express my work in whatever way I want to. I get to have access to the workshop of needed and I also get access to the studio whenever I please. However there are a couple things which need to be thought about. We have to pay for our own materials, all of them. Paper, including all sizes A2;A3;A4, pencils, model materials, and printing. As a student it is hard to provide money for all these things and to also have a meal every night.
