I absolutely loved my time at the university of York. The college system ensures there's a real sense of community; the campus is beautiful with the lake and green spaces; the lecturers are second to none and cared about each individual student. I will always treasure the memories York gave me.

College system is one of the best things about York.

I love studying at the university of York because the staff here are very dedicated to helping you make the most out of your degree, and there are so many resources on campus. The campus is beautiful, and the city of York is only a couple miles away from campus and is the perfect sized city and so historical. I think the ways it can be improved is that the buildings and some of the facilities aren't kept up as well.

The Zooarchaeology course here is really great! The labs and comparative collections are a great resource, and the professors and course structure is organized really well. I don't love how there is only usually one or two assignments that give you a final grade, instead of more assignments that comprise a smaller percentage of your grade.

Staying it Wentworth college has been great because location wise it is right on campus, but it is also right near a large wildlife park/field and a lake, so you are surrounded by nature while also being a three minute walk from campus in the other direction. The worst part about it is maintenance, I often get emails with maintenance notifications that will often get changed dates, cancelled, etc. and the inconsistency can be bothersome.
