more integration into the community, including the wider community. the toilets in a lot of places need updating and modernising, especially as some of these are used for the open days. The student union needs to work harder on post graduate and non taught/researcher engagement.

my department as a whole often feels forgotten, and I have seen this throughout my entire academic career. I understand there are unavoidable cuts and financial elements however it shouldn't feel like a department is being forgotten about and not as actively promoted as other departments in the school.
