Really friendly atmosphere, the lecturers are attentive, there is good availability of practical work in science subjects, every building is close together therefore easy to get to your next class

A bit small, but good food and cheap drink.

Close to Glasgow which has plenty of things to do.

It's not viewed as highly by others as the likes of Glasgow University is.

It's a very social university with plenty of clubs to join. The lecturers are always on hand to help with issues you have about the courses and if there are any issues with the uni itself they can be directed to the student reps. It's a great uni to learn at that has many opportunities to grow as an individual.

The facilities are great. The uni library always has plenty of books related to the course and if they are available at the time they are delivered quickly and efficiently. There are plenty of printers around the campus to work on for when a group project needs to be discussed. The cafes are great. They have good food and plenty of variety there only fault is they aren't open long enough during exam season.

The student link is great. It's open for long hours and always has people there with information to either solve the problem or direct you to the person that can. I can't really fault the student link as the problems I've had they have helped me solve.

The union is okay. The music is boring as it's the same playlist each week. They need more than one dj. The events can be a hit or a miss and there isn't enough publicity about the events until a day or so before and by that time other plans have already been made. The venue itself is well laid out and the bar is always well stocked. The food is really good but I don't really go because the music is always the same.

City life is good. There is plenty of transport to Glasgow if you want to get outside of Paisley. Or there are a few things to do in Paisley and event held at the town hall.

There are lots of clubs for uws. Some are social others active and the rest are for the benefit of the uni. These clubs are advertised well mainly at the fair held at the beginning of the year but I believe you can join at any time throughout the year.

The courses are fun most of the time. The lecturers do try and engage students in the learning of the course. Some even record their lecture so you can re listen to it if there is a key point you didn't understand before speaking to the lecturer themselves.

The course I'm studying (applied bioscience and zoology) gives us the time during our week to work at a company of our choosing to experience a work life first hand. The course also takes us on a trip that will show us the skill set we would need to work in a profession Laboratory for a week.

The accommodation is great. There is enough space for you to work etc in you room but also in the dining room. My only fault is the price. The price of the accommodation I had at uni was more than my student loan so my parents had to pitch in and there was no alternative price as all the accommodation is either the same price or more expensive.
