Infrastructure is good and teaching staff are friendly

The best aspects of my UEL experience were the diverse community and strong focus on employability, while the worst were the occasional administrative delays and the high cost of living in London.

The best aspect of my course at UEL was its practical approach, with industry-relevant content and hands-on opportunities that prepared me for real-world challenges. The worst aspect was occasional inconsistency in teaching quality, with some modules feeling less engaging or poorly organized compared to others.

What’s to love about UEL’s location is its vibrant East London setting, offering stunning waterfront views at the Docklands campus, excellent transport links via the DLR, and proximity to central London for endless cultural, social, and professional opportunities. However, the downside is that living in London can be expensive, and the area around the campus can sometimes feel a bit isolated compared to the hustle of the city center.

What I liked most about the halls at UEL was the convenience of living on campus, with everything I needed—classes, social spaces, and amenities—within easy reach, as well as the opportunity to connect with other students and build a sense of community.
