At the university the resources available are very good and there a lot of them so I am able to come in anytime log in to a computer and work on my studies and projects.

The lecturers are so nice and understanding as well as the sessions they have planned are very enjoyable with a lot of content to work on.

Great uni, courses and lecturers are fun and good location with shopping center nearby. Don't know much about nightlife but I've heard Walkabout is good (less than 30 mins walk) and there's an alternative music club too (Mosh). Sainsburys Local right in the middle of halls area is convenient but prices are cheaper elsewhere - town centre is nearby. Markeaton and Brittania Mill campuses less than 10 mins walk away from halls, both campuses are great although food prices are high in cafeteria.

Great library but printers are terribly slow and print logs get full up quickly, make sure you print any important work before the deadlines because the place will be packed full of people rushing to hand in their work! (Britannia Mill campus)

Westfield (intu) shopping complex less than 20mins walk from halls

My favourite is the Anime and Manga society, I have met so many lifelong friends and like-minded people who are so friendly and welcoming

Nunnery Court- Silverfish problems, sub-par toilet room with no space to put toilet roll or soap and a faulty fridge but was repaired quickly and given a better one. Rooms are fairly spacious and huge desk area but beds and chair uncomfortable, can be swapped for own bed/chair though. Overall okay, but cant help feeling that I'm paying too much for basically just a room and a kitchen Student housing is cheaper and far far better
