Nottingham Trent University is a welcoming place with state of the art facilities available to all. Its halls of residence are clean and well kept, I live on Brackenhurst campus which is very scenic and picturesque, the only downside is living next to a field of cows which do not shut up. Every with the exception of one lecturer who was a little dull, but friendly, every last one has been informative, interesting and friendly. The Brackenhurst campus library is open 24/7 term time which is perfect for night owls like me. Overall I'd say that Nottingham Trent is a brilliant university to go to with friendly staff, so far lovely students and is really just a fantastic place to be.

NTU offers amazing facilities particularly for the animal science courses. Studying at Brackenhurst you get to explore beautiful grounds and historic architecture whilst provided with on hand experience with animals. Living on city campus you get to experience the classic uni life surrounded by independent clubs, bars, restaurants, cafes, etc. Moreover, the endless societies can take you to the national ice centre, the climbing gym or into the peak district.

Lecturers are generous with their time and knowledge in their profession offering career advice, contacts within the working industry and further research. In-class learning takes place roughly 3 days a week and each lecture is recorded and accessible through the uni domain. As well as the yard at Brackenhurst with around 30+ horses there are laboratories on campus.

Since moving out there have been some changes but whilst living in the halls, maintenance were rude and accessed the flat with no communication to the students. The security were amazing, looking after student welfare and the layout of the flat encouraged sociable living. The cleaners were very appreciated and respected personal items in the shared spaces. Biggest downside is the size of the rooms, they are tiny, the bright-side is that it means you'd rather go and explore than stay in your room.
