There are a lot of opportunities to get extra help and advice, from my course, and from societies as well. The lecturers are always willing to give advice and their time to help you out. The campus based living is perfect for my idea of university, its so communal and feels safe so, for example, I can walk to and from the library at any time and still feel safe! Some may feel secluded living on campus but because I have friends with similar ideas of how to have fun and who I really get on with I don't feel like this. The only down side is how expensive some of the sites on campus can be, but there is a Tesco only 10 mins away and a bus to Coventry is only 10 mins too.

I love my course because of the content but also because of the passion of the lecturers, it adds to my love for the subject. There is a mini museum type thing which is so cool as we are able to see artefacts that are hundreds of years old. There are less contact hours than I thought, however this isn't wholly a bad thing as it is expected that I would have to do more independent work. Although the contact hours are less all of my lecturers and my personal tutor are happy to meet up and discuss work/essays/essay plans whenever needed.

Tocil is very good for value for money, you wouldn't immediately know its one of the cheapest accommodations. There has ben problems such as leaks in the roof, and water that needs to be filtered in order to drink. Most of the time these problems are fixed quickly - there are some downsides such as these but on the whole its good! The location is perfect for me, with my furthest lecture only being a 5 minute walk, its also close to Tesco and the library. The room size is good and feels cosy if you put effort into decorating your room. I am really lucky with the people that I'm living with, they are likeminded and respectful of noise and etc. Other people in the block are not so much, but I didn't request a quiet area and the people in my flat are lovely so that's what I focus on. I have made friends from outside my block too, overall its a very communal and nice place to live.

The location and student experience are great for people whose lives don't solely revolve around night life; there is plenty to do day and night, sober and not. The on campus experience is also a great aspect to attending Warwick. I do think that the university could put more effort into the quality of the student accommodation on campus; people should not have to go an entire year without working heating only to be compensated £100. Or live with broken windows for the majority of their first term - both of these have happened to people I know.

I like that all the lectures and exams are in person, and that the size of the lectures is usually pretty small, meaning we can all ask our questions and gain something from the lectures and seminars. I think that the language courses in the department are very fast paced and it wouldn't hurt to slow it down a little.

The flat was nice and the kitchen was big. My room was quite nice although my window started leaking when it rained in the last term and nothing was done for a long time. My flatmate had issues with a broken vent and mould, about which nothing was done for the first two terms and then they just moved her room. I do not think that was acceptable. I paid just shy of £9,000 for 40 weeks of accommodation and I think that for the amount they charged they could have looked after the students living there a little better.
