From my experience, the lecturers in my department have been really nice and helpful. They make their office hours very clear and often offer more hours near deadlines to help. The Avenue campus is also really nice and there is a sense of community. To improve, the Highfield campus looks quite dull and can be a hard to navigate. It can also be a little difficult for some commuters to get to the campus, parking can be difficult as well.

Ancient History at Southampton is really amazing. The lecturers and department are super helpful and interactive, they offer a lot of support and guidance. They interact a lot with other departments (Archaeology, anthropology and History) so the course content is not limited to Ancient History. Although the course does expand beyond just the Greeks and Romans I think it could still be improved slightly.
