They say university is the best years of your life and it is so true. I wasn't sure what to expect when I first came here but I am loving every second of it. I have learned so much and am keen to go into postgraduate research, I have joined clubs and sports and made many friends and I love the beautiful city that I live in. I couldn't ask for a better university experience.

Since I have been at the university the facilities have improved so much! I have never had any issues with anything and the university is only getting better. Especially now with the new campus, there is so much money and development going on that I know in the coming few years there is going to be a big boost to the facilities and they are really useful for the staff and students and are going to make it even more of a research-based institution.

There are constantly emails about various wellbeing, money and disability services etc so it is easy enough to find help when you need it. Academically it is also easy to receive support. We are all required to have personal tutor meetings but the staff are so friendly and accessible anyway that it is easy to go and talk to them if something comes up.

There is always something going on at the students union which is great! So many events and ways to get involved.

The city is so nice. It is small and close to the university which is what I liked about it but it is always very lively and has everything you need.

There are so many clubs and societies to get involved with and if there is something missing, it is easy enough to get one set up! They are a really big part of life here and almost everyone is involved with something. There are subject based ones but also all kinds of hobbies and sports so there is always something new to try and it's a great way of meeting people.

The lecturers are always available to help and they are so friendly and helpful. They really care about their courses because it is their interests too so they make it engaging and interesting. I have learned so many great things because of them.

Very well, I have gained so many skills and a lot of confidence during my degree and there are always things going on in terms of helping with future careers

Its been such a great experience. The campus is cleverly laid out with everything easily at hand. Facilities can't be faulted and academic staff are all experts in their field and approachable. Overlooking the sea, the campus is actually very inspiring and is conducive for study. Love it here!
