The uni has followed guidance well, but mask wearing is only required in shared buildings and in class it is up to the individual tutor. This makes me and some of my fellow classmates uncomfortable and wish to remain online as we are aware of people in classes mixing and breaking restrictions - I wouldn't wish to be in a space with them not wearing a mask or socially distancing. Apart from this, the uni has been good this past year, trying their best to give us live performances where possible. Although we have had the majority of this years classes online, and for a practical course this isn't ideal, I do feel I have learnt a great deal and progressed this year.

Everything is accessible, clean and the library specifically is lovely

There are student support groups, tutors are helpful with any assistance you may need in class/extentions you may need

Blended learning currently, x2 6 hour classes in person and all other classes online. Current teaching hours means 20 hours a week. Contact with most tutors is easy and they are very helpful, most are incredibly friendly and open to giving advice wherever needed

They push us into the industry as much as they can, we have had a guest speaker from an agency, and next year we are due to create showreels and invite agents to our showcase

The city of chichester itself is quite small and nightlife isn’t in abundance. However, the amazing community feel around the university campus and the city community as a whole is very comforting. It is very easy to make chichester feel like home and I feel incredibly lucky to live here for my studies. There is a wealth of places to go and things to do in close proximity, such as the witterings and the bustling high street. The university itself offers top quality support to students and has helped me become a more well rounded person.

I have always had a massive love for the arts and I am happy to say I’m pursuing my dreams by studying Acting at university of chichester. The support for the arts at this university is unlike anything I have ever experienced. With an amazingly, well equipped show room there is more than enough support from the department for every performance no matter how big or small.

Close proximity to many different types of life I.e. beaches, larger cities, quiet countryside

My only issue with my halls is the walk from them to campus. However, this minor issue is made up for with helpful and kind maintenance team members, friendly security guards and overall great amenities.
