UA92 has recently opened its new business school opposite Salford Central Train Station. As a commuting student, this has benefitted me as I have multiple public transport options of how to get to university. By being so close to Manchester City Centre we have access to multiple businesses within the area for any opportunities that become available. Furthermore, in comparison to the Old Trafford Campus, the Business School is smaller which has provided me with multiple opportunities to meet new people with similar interests and build new friendships. Within the business school, there are multiple booths which I believe is the ideal environment for business students like myself to discuss ideas and complete projects in an open yet private space. One thing that enticed me to the university was the 92 Program. This is a program that is designed to help personal development and is taught by a variety of guest speakers and lecturers. Each block is focused on a particular area (for example professionalism, strengths, well-being or personal development). By attending these sessions we can reflect on the journey we have been on since starting university and can be more prepared for the working world post receiving our degree.

All students at UA92 are either morning or afternoon students. This means that we are either in 9am-1pm or 2pm-6pm. By doing this students like myself can plan work around university easily and create a routine which can remain consistent through our time at university. At UA92 we study 1 module at a time. This allows us to 100% focus on the module they are studying, helping us to remain organised and prevent any confusion that could occur if we were required to manage multiple modules and assignments at one time. In addition, we have1 lecturer per block which again provides consitencey. If we have any questions we can easily contact our lecturer or module leader either in person or through teams and they are always happ to help and support us.
