By a landslide the best think I have found about hope is the size, due to it being a relatively small university with around 5000 students compared to Uni of having 25000, meaning the feel of lectures is more personal, the staff are far more likely to assist you however they can and the University is far less confusing the walk around. However, my least favourite thing about the university has got to be the location, being in Childwall and not Liverpool city centre like the other two universities, meaning you feel very detached from the rest of the city, but it is only a short bus ride to town so not the end of the world.

For the accounting side of my course, I find the content to be very engaging, as my Mum is a finance director herself I can see the practical benefits of my studies a lot more clearly than say further mathematics in secondary school, which in my eyes seemed like silly equations with funny letters designed to solve even more silly equations with funny letters. Politics I find to be a great subject for those who genuinely enjoy it, but you will find no enjoyment in studying this subject if you do not have a love for the topic. My lectures are generally all good teachers, some of them do like reading in monotone off the board sometimes but you can't really blame them, I wouldn't want to give a high energy lecture at 9am.

Everything about the accommodation itself is lovely, rooms are fairly sized as are the kitchens. The building is fairly new and has a modern look. The setup of five mixed students per flat works perfectly in my opinion, the building is warm in winter and coldish in summer, the bathroom is nice but the shower cubicle is a tad small. Desk area is lovely with small reading light, 6 sockets and plenty of leg space underneath. My main issue was the mattresses, everyone who I spoke too said that their mattresses was incredibly uncomfortable, I even got mine replaced in November because it was so unbearably irritating. Also the shared laundry facilities are horrendous, there are 8 washers and 6 dryers to supply over 1000 students who live on campus, I don't know why each accom building doesn't have its own laundry room, instead making every student haul their laundry across the main road to wash it, only to find all the washers full of finished loads, and having to come back at 3am to do it. I PASSIONATELY DISLIKE CIRCUIT LAUNDRY, the app is glitchy and the minimum deposit is £10 meaning you always have awkward amounts of money left on the app, 10p short of your washing? Put another £10 on then! Like why? Who thought of that???

If you are choosing to study somewhere which is close to a major city but are wanting to stay somewhere quite and laid back, hope is amazing! However because it's out of the city, there are less people and is slightly harder to meet newer people.

There is the facilities needed to do work and high level lecturers to provide high level lectures but the module inside the accounting course is split up weirdly and can feel like information is repeated or even pointless in certain scenarios.

All the facilities are standard and everything is present and working on arrive but the room is nothing special and has the basics only.
