Clean, modern buildings and interiors, good quality of education along with a good support system. Could be improved by having better student events.

Establishing contact with lecturers could be improved upon outside of lecture/seminar time, but in this time, support is very helpful.

Very safe city that is small but not too small, easy transport links into local and bigger cities. More areas for younger people could be added.

Relatively expensive, but comes with a good quality hall with 24 hour security and is regularly cleaned, along with a gym membership.

Overall the university is a lovely place to be, especially if you are based at city campus as the business school has a lot of history and fantastic views! I loved that the teaching groups were small enough that you could have plenty of individual support and build a good friendship group. Tutors are well trained, knowledgeable and helpful. Facilities are varied and there is something for everyone, although the city campus is smaller so there isn’t as much of a student ‘hub’!

City campus doesn’t have as many facilities but there is a gym and cafe so you’re able to socialise with classmates easily

Counselling, one on ones and general well being support is available aswell as a gym

Good mix of in class and online learning, enough contact time with access to lecturers

Lots of career fairs, links with specific companies which got me my placement year
