The University of Portsmouth is a superb choice for international students due to its incredibly diverse community. Renowned for academic excellence, the university's faculty provides high quality education, emphasizing on the practical usage of the theory. Most teachers here have an incredible skill of simplifying the trickiest of topics in such a beautiful way that no one is left behind in class. While the academics and student life is better than I would've imagined, there is 1 aspect of living here that I think could improve. As most international students, I have tried to look for a part-time job to further support myself and am unable to do so. I believe the university could benefit alot if it improved their current careers council and actively helped students look for a job. Having an in-house HR recruitment firm or council could help students find jobs suitable for them. This is the only aspect which I believe the UoP lacks in.

The teachers in my course at the University of Portsmouth are exceptional. Their expertise and evident dedication create a supportive learning environment. They not only convey complex concepts effectively but also provide practical insights, enhancing our understanding of the subject. Their commitment and dedication to the student's success is evident in the way they teach. Their ability to break down complex problems and teach every confused student at their level of understanding is astonishing. They're inspirational and true masters of their respective fields. We get ample of hours in contact with our teachers and They're always reachable even out of class. While some of the courses in the first semester felt irrelevant to our degree, I still believe we finished it being a better student. Having more awareness and knowledge of how our surrounding financial institutions work.
