The student union is very comfortable, while it can get busy during the day, they have made ongoing steps to increase seating capacity. It has a great atmosphere for studying, socialising, or relaxing and there's always an event going on that you can get involved, encouraging a sense of community by bringing different people together to chat you never would've talked to otherwise. The Pantry is a fantastic facility made to combat the cost of living crisis for students, it is a store where students can show up with containers and fill them with basic food essentials such as rice, pasta, flour, spices and more, for free. This has been a huge help as it allows us to make hearty proper meals affordably. The McClay Library is excellent, it's open 24/7 with printing and computing facilities, and free wifi. Catering to everyone's schedules allowing for flexibility. They also have rooms that can be booked of various sizes perfect for individual study or group work. Computer sytems can be unreliable within the library however, especially within the bookable study rooms affecting group work the most as you never know if the room you've booked will work and let you practise a presentation or not. It would be great if more effort could be spent ensuring the computer to tv display link and other features are functioning in every study room on a routine basis, at least weekly.

Our course lecturers quality vary as we have a mix of modules from Finance to Business to Law to Economics to Accounting, making for a varied experience. Some lecturers are excellent specifically the Accounting module ones who care deeply about the course they teach and student well-being. Most are available during office hour but also at weekends and late at night making they very accessible, and they are always happy to answer any questions. The lecture content is taught in-person and it is delivered clearly. However some of the other module lectures such as the Finance ones teaching was harder to follow. One of the lecturers did not appear to want students to do well, boasting of the low pass rate in the first lecture and then later following the mid-term results being quite high compared to past years, he acted annoyed. This discouraged many students and hightened their anxiety for the upcoming Final, this could be improved upon. The content of the module was delivered rapidly and had a shocking lack of practical application questions which the exam was primarily based upon, this made revision and note taking exceptionally difficult. Overall however, bar the exception the course has been delivered extremely well and has been very interesting and enjoyable, it is especially adept at adapting content to meet current trends and topics, especially our contemporary technologies module which covers AI and even includes teaching us how to use such technologies within our field such as PowerBI.

It was a great location as it was far from the road so peaceful, but also only a 15 minute walk from the main campus, it also had lovely common areas for events. The price is not applicable to me and so I cannot comment on its fairness. After a water tank leak in the roofspace above my room which led to a flooding of my belongings, the accomodation team were quick to offer alternative lodging and fixed the problem efficiently, therefore I find their attitude and response time to be excellent.

Loads of facilities and resources made available to me. Loads of workshops to help with developing skills necessary for university. Only real problem I have experienced is finding the contact details for particular departments.

The course has some very interesting and useful modules. However some lectures contain very brief tutorials and sometimes lecturers just rush through reading off a power point which leads to many people leaving or losing focus.

Very central in Belfast and has access to everything you can need. As well as all the sights and attractions for days off and weekends. Great transport links, you have two airports a ferry port which can take you to many different parts of the UK and a great bus and train network.

The rooms and what you get for the price are very good. However sometimes it can feel like the staff are intrusive with the amount of inspections and maintenance. The location of Elms BT2 is great. The room I was allocated was definitely not the best in terms of the view outside the window. I have had a few maintenance issues with my en-suite however these were fixed quickly. The worst part is that they have threatened to put a charge on my account for a stain that was there before I moved in which in reality they should have cleaned before I arrived.
