What makes Queen Mary such a great place to study is definitely the abundance of resources that are available to students. This can range from library resources, to the careers and enterprise department in IQ East court, which provide students with the information they need to succeed. For me I have been able to take part in two consulting projects as well as take on multiple ambassador positions within the university which has helped me to improve my CV and employable skills. Sometimes minor issues arise in the library, such as missing computer accessories, but I’ve always been impressed by how promptly Queen Mary addresses them once reported.

Our course being taught in person has been a really positive experience, and overall everything has run very smoothly. One of the absolute highlights has been the seminars, they offer such valuable depth and really help solidify our understanding. Last year’s two-hour seminars were especially impactful for me, as they gave us the space to explore concepts in detail and build confidence. I would be delighted to see this format return, particularly for more technical modules like Management Accounting and International Corporate Reporting, where the extra time can make a real difference to our learning. I also want to highlight how fantastic the lecturers and teaching staff are. They are consistently supportive, approachable, and committed to helping us succeed, whether through engaging lectures, office hours, or taking the time to answer questions. Their dedication genuinely enhances the learning experience.
