The facilities are generally really good, however, some teachers could be a tad better.

UWE Bristol has a really supportive environment. The lecturers are approachable and explain things clearly, and there are lots of resources like workshops, study support, and career advice that actually feel useful.

Accounting and Finance at UWE is taught in a really practical way. A lot of the content links directly to real business situations, which makes it easier to understand why we’re learning it. We have a mix of lectures and workshops, so there’s time to practice problems and ask questions. However, the workload from different modules can build up at the same time, which can feel stressful. A few topics move quite fast, and it can be hard to keep up if you miss a class.

The halls are really convenient — being on campus means it’s easy to get to classes, the library, and shops. My flat has decent storage, good heating, and reliable Wi-Fi. It’s also nice meeting people from different courses and countries, and there’s usually someone around if you need help or company. The maintenance team is generally quick when you report issues, and the security presence makes it feel safe. The rent feels quite expensive for the space you get, and extra costs (like laundry) add up.
