A role as a vehicle technician, mechanic or electrician means you’ll get to work on a range of motor vehicles, fixing faults and servicing mechanical parts, components and electrical circuitry. Employed in a garage or workshop, you’ll work with a range of customers to service vehicles like cars, lorries, motorcycles or buses.

Usually, you’ll be responsible for engaging with customers to understand the issues, checking different systems and vehicles to identify problems, and carrying out fixes or replacements as needed.
