As a financial manager or director, you could work in a range of different jobs across financial institutions of all kinds. You might work in large institutions in the public or private sector, collaborating with other managers to make sure that regulations are met and business objectives achieved. Or you could be the director of a smaller company and influence the overall direction of your firm.
Your day-to-day responsibilities might include preparing reports and presentations for senior management, authorising large financial decisions, making sure regulations and laws are met, and planning future strategy.
