I can only rate based on my experience which has been heavily affected by covid, having started in the 2020/21 year. The university itself has a welcoming feel to it and the location in the centre of York is perfect. The content covered on my course has been varied and engaging, and some of the lecturers are really inspiring.

Again, the worst aspects have probably been caused by covid, online teaching was difficult for everyone involved. Contact hours have been good, probably better than average. The lecturers are generally available, excited about their subject and keen to encourage students with individual goals/projects.
