Good range of facilities but buildings are outdated and require some refurbishment, especially halls of residence. Parking at the yard can be improved so students don't have to park in unmarked bays. Overall, facilities need to be expanded to accommodate the growing population of the university. Great lecturers that are enthusiastic about the subjects their teaching.

Lecturers are always available and most go beyond just being a lecturer and always have our best interests at heart. Very few lectures are online but more would be welcome, or pre-recorded lectures to watch would be nice for times during high work loads, around exam time and assignment submission time.

Great balance of night and day life. things to do during the day and great freshers events and student nights throughout the year. Food shops, post office, pub and doctors within walking distance.

Very expensive for a very basic room that is not pretty to look or has the best appliances or furnishing. Often experience showers flooding and getting blocked, this is normally resolved quickly but ideally shouldn't happen in the first place and bathrooms could be more modern. Kitchens are cleaned daily by a cleaner but a thorough clean is needed more often. I have experienced 1 kitchen (two fridges/ one hob/ two microwaves) for 8 people but also the same facilities for 17 people to share which is not appropriate. With the lack of oven, catering is provided but the portion sizes are too small and often not appetising with cheap meats being chosen, reducing the quality of the food. Halls have a very welcoming atmosphere and you end up making friends very quickly. You are able to chose who you have in your halls once you have made friends and want to live together.
