I have had a great university experience at Worcester, I have grown tremendous amounts both academically and personally through my time at university. I I would definitely recommend this university and experience to others.

The facilities are good, the sports facilities are particularly good, providing great quality and easily accessible places to play sport. The other facilities are sufficient and always kept in good condition.

Both the academic and personal support provided by the university is great, I have always felt like I have somebody to speak to about any issue that occurs. The university broadcast the services available to the students a lot, to ensure they know the points of contact if necessary.

The students union works particularly hard to represent the students and provides a lot of opportunity for students to voice their opinions and experiences, the facilities are good, with affordable prices.

The main campus of the university is located within a great area of Worcester, it is surrounded by a lot of student houses and also has their own accommodation on campus. There are nearby convenience shops, in addition it is a short walk to the city centre. Alternatively, the city campus is in the heart of the city, next to the library and a stone throw away from shops, restaurants and anything you would need.

Considering the size of this university in comparison to other larger universities, there is a large and varied amount of both societies and sports teams available!

I like the one to one engagement between the lecturer/supervisors and students, having smaller courses/amount of students enables this to happen and the staff are dedicated to helping their students. I would prefer to have more creative assingnments rather than the traditional essay/report/presentation type of assessments.

From my knowledge, most courses have work placement modules embedded within their course, enabling real life experience and knowledge to be gained. The careers department includes career advisers that can be accessed even a few years after leaving the university. The university provide additional courses and volunteering opportunities to complete outside of the course.

Location is difficult when floods - often

Good course content with great external speakers - highly valued in developing learning. Some lecturers have got frustrated with students asking for extra help and support and explanation. Lecturers walked out of online teaching sessions due to this. Module assessment due with less than 6 teaching sessions - giving little time for completion of assessment.

Quick maintenance attendees when concerns raised. Weekly cleaner (2019) which was unexpected but really useful.
