A combination of high quality education and high levels of socialising with remarkable future prospects.

The best thing about Warwick is the campus, especially in first year, when you live on campus, it is a great place to settle in and make friends quickly. I would improve the prices on campus, as students are limited to what they can buy and have to pay extortionate prices for basic necessities.

The best aspect is the course is the range of content / modules offered, as the content feels relevant and engaging. The worst aspects of the course is the lack of recording of lecture-style classes. These classes are treated like lectures, with the tutor speaking with slides, however they are not recorded like all other lectures within the university, meaning it is very difficult to catch-up on work. Some language modules are also poorly taught.

The social-life was great in halls, I made lots of great friends, who I'm still close with today. There was also a common room, which was rare for Rootes and that was a great social space to use. My room provided everything I needed for the year. However, we had major issues with safety, as multiple times, people from other accommodations broke into our building. This was also made worse by the lack of locks on the kitchen door, and the trespassers stole food from our fridges. The kitchen itself was also not sufficient - it was shared between 17 people and there was one sink, two hobs and two ovens. The table in the kitchen was a tiny round table and had about six chairs around it. We really struggled to make space for everyone in the kitchen. I would also like to add, that it was not advertised to me that there is a possibility when applying to Rootes accommodation, that you will placed in International House. This building has a completely different set-up to all other Rootes Blocks - the rooms are much smaller in I-House, as is the kitchen and I think it is wrong for the university to advertise this building as Rootes. Luckily, it wasn't too much of an issue, however my first few days at university were a much more of an adjustment and made more difficult as this was not the accommodation I was promised or I expected.
