Helpful teachers and staff, resourceful library make it an amazing place. More working space for phd students would be better.

Teaching learning is quite advanced

Rooms are tiny, halls are crowded but the staff is very helpful

The campus is incredible. My accommodation is on the expensive side, but it is so much nicer than any uni halls I've visited elsewhere. It doesn't feel like a university flat at all, it's modern and in a great location. The life at Warwick is my favourite part of being a student here. Because we are a campus uni in pretty much the middle of nowhere, we have to make our own entertainment. The number of societies and sports clubs, and the vast inclusivity of them, can easily give you something to do every night of the week. My degree is relatively well-run, and the department are very very responsive to feedback. It feels like they really care about us, rather than just being a number on their admissions list.

My seminar tutors are amazing, and are always open to flexible office hours. The course is so interesting, and varied, but some of core lectures aren't great. The best modules are the optional ones, of which we have more choice over in years 2 and 3. The access to primary source material is incredible, and it really feels like Warwick values History and the arts as a whole, which is hard to find at other big universities.

It's expensive. However, it feels like a home much more than a detached uni hall. The location couldn't be better, it's 8 minutes from the Sports Hub, and 5 minutes from the main lecture theatres. The kitchen is easily big enough for all 12 of us to cook and eat together, and the TV is an added bonus that none of us were expecting (but you need your own HDMI cable to connect your laptop.) Having the TV makes it feel a lot more like a home and because of how new it is, the whole flat is so modern. The rooms are really good at keeping in warmth, so the winter has been really easy, but the summer was hot. The only issue has been all of the showers clog and need unclogging at least once a week, but that is really the only main issue. If we've had any other issues, they've been fixed within the day. I've never felt unsafe on campus, which is really important. I've met my best friends in my flat, and I will miss the central location next year. You're also only 5 minutes from Pop, so when you've had enough you can just go home!
