Warwick is a really great uni to study at. The facilities are very good, such as the library and hidden gems like the archives. The student union is super active and engaging, there is always something on. My course, creative writing, is also brilliant. The teaching is high quality. There aren't many hours either which can be seen in a good and a bad way. I would say, though, that campus itself is situated in a strange area, and although public transport is good, it's often unreliable and expensive to get to Coventry or Leamington Spa. I enjoy the library but for the English part of my course many books are very outdated, which isn't helpful for trying to find recent scholars. It's confusing too, but the library team is amazing at helping. Campus accommodation is not the best but I don't have too many issues with it, except you're not getting high quality rooms for most accoms for expensive prices. Food on campus is extortionate but luckily there's a big tesco nearby. Overall, I have loved my time at Warwick and do recommend the uni. There's lots to get stuck in with.

The course itself is really good. The reason I applied to Warwick mainly was because of their Creative Writing department. There's always guests coming in to speak to you about the prospects of a real career in the arts. Your work gets taken seriously and all the Creative Writing tutors are brilliant. I enjoy English, too, but it definitely is not as good. Many of the seminar tutors go off topic and you don't always feel like you're learning, instead being forced to speak on things you don't understand, which is disappointing especially when you have high expectations from a Russel Group. There are some amazing seminar tutors too, though. The course is not too heavy to understand and there aren't many hours which is good and bad. I would want more hours for creative writing, as there is only one seminar per module a week which seems very little. I would definitely recommend the course either way, especially since we get the best building, Faculty of Arts.

Westwood is a strange accommodation. It is really far away from campus which is annoying for getting to and from, but nice to feel like uni and home are separate. It is super close to tesco which is very useful. The kitchens get cleaned every week and the bathrooms every other day which is brilliant. My room is adjacent to the kitchen and that is horrible noise wise, although people in Westwood aren't the most sociable. I would say that the price is too much for what they offer and the buildings are so old that the pipes are ridiculously loud and everything breaks. The amount of adults that come to fix things can be off putting especially when trying to take a shower and walking past random men fixing a bulb.

Univeristy os generally good but the humanities block is rubbish. The SU and the other campus facilities however, and generally very good.
