The campus is really well cared for. Student support if you know where to find it. Bus service needs to be improved

Majority of lecturers are passionate about teaching, some have some communication issues. Course content is interesting but quite research specific, heavy focus on microbiology.

Expensive for what it is, especially compared to other unis. Always felt very safe - community safety are everywhere. Had no issues with the wifi and the maintenance team would usually fix problems on the day of reporting.

Facilities and location are all great. Campus is large and has everything you need. There is a nice community and well delivered content. A big issue for me is the cost of things such as food on campus, and the ridiculous amount of roadworks that have being going on the entire time I have been at the uni which often make it a hassle getting the bus in and out.

The online resources provided are excellent. Lots of job and summer opportunities are shown to us via online or by carriers fairs that are held. Many of the lectures are passionate about what they are teaching. All of my lectures are recorded and posted online which I find extremely helpful for revision and going back over bits that I didn't quite get the first time.

The people I lived with were brilliant and I have stayed living with and if not living with then very close with throughout all of my following university years. The rooms are great, lots of space, double bed and a sink. The common room is really nice and there is plenty of room in the kitchen. Sharing toilets was never a problem. Facilities like washing and drying are all in the building so don't have to go far at all. Its the furthest campus accommodation from central campus, but that was never an issue. The area it is in is really nice.
