The lecturers on our course are so helpful and supportive, I feel more than comfortable with them all, enough to always ask questions without hesitation or worry. Things that make student life difficult include things like parking- this was always an issue, in terms of there not being enough parking spaces and overflow carparks being so far away, when I did my back course (2021-24), but since returning in 2025, an entirely new building has been erected on campus, not only meaning more students and more cars being on site at any given time, but this new building was also built on part of the original car park, meaning even less spaces than before, despite there now being more cars accessing and using the university. Not enough food is cooked in the cafe each day- often the hot food has run out before lunch time has even hit (I've attempted to buy lunch at 1pm on several occasions, to be told its already sold out). When I questioned if more would be made in future, I was told my only option would be to leave my classes early to ensure I can get a hot meal. Also, the food quality offered is mostly unhealthy and of poor quality. A few salads are offered as a health option, but other than that, all other offerings are ultra processed and unhealthy. I bought a burger last week, as there were no healthy options left and after one bite had to throw it in the bin- it was so processed, it should have been illegal to it to have even been served. I had a banana in my bag and had to survive on that for the day, because there were no other options available to me.

I'm more than happy with the course, the content and the lecturers' teaching of the course. Printing facilities are expensive and often faulty. I have to print regularly in my course and have had so many problems with printers not working and have lost money, many times through this problem. Its already so expensive for me to print, based on how much and frequently is needed, so this can be really upsetting, stressful and sometimes upsetting when close to assignment hand in dates, which are already such stressful times.

Supportive lecturers and staff who are always ready to help and guide students. Diverse and friendly environment where I can meet people from different cultures. Good facilities, including libraries, study spaces, and online resources. Sometimes slow communication from certain departments, especially during busy periods. Limited availability of study rooms during exam seasons. More support needed for international students, such as help with documents, housing, and part-time job guidance.
