I have meet some weird & wonderful people along the way in my uni life & some will defo stay friends for the rest of my life. Swansea is a great city with some very picturesque places not to far from here.

The university has great facilities, a good location, and strong support from teachers. I’ve really enjoyed being able to apply what I learn directly to my own business, and the overall learning environment has been positive and motivating. Worst aspects / areas for improvement: As a young entrepreneur, I felt there wasn’t enough support or resources available for students who want to start or grow their own business. I started my business in my first year, and I wish I had access to more information about start-ups, funding, and grants from the beginning. More real-life examples, practical workshops, and opportunities to meet mentors or professionals would have made a big difference. I also feel that sometimes the focus is more on international students, while local students like me can feel overlooked. In addition, the timetable isn’t very flexible for students who run a business or have parenting responsibilities. Overall, it’s a great place to study, but offering more entrepreneurial support and more flexible scheduling would really improve the experience.

Best aspects: The course is well taught, and I’ve had very good support from my lecturers. They are approachable, helpful, and genuinely want students to succeed. The mix of learning methods and the content itself have been useful, especially when applying theory to my own business. Overall, the teaching quality has been one of the strongest parts of the course. Worst aspects / areas for improvement: Although the teaching support is good, I feel the course could include more practical, real-life examples—especially for students interested in entrepreneurship. More guidance on start-ups, funding options, grants, and business growth strategies would be incredibly valuable. The timetable can also be challenging at times, especially for students who work, run a business, or have parenting responsibilities. A bit more flexibility in scheduling or delivery would make the course more accessible. In general, the academic support is strong, but adding more entrepreneurial-focused content and more flexible learning options would significantly improve the course experience.

What I like most: The halls have a convenient location and decent basic facilities. They provide a comfortable and safe place to stay, and the environment is generally friendly. What I like least / areas for improvement: In terms of value for money, I would rate it around 3 stars. I’m not fully sure the cost matches what you actually receive. Some amenities could be improved, and the price feels a bit high considering the overall quality and what’s included. A few upgrades or better maintenance would make the halls feel more worth the cost. Overall, the experience is okay, but the value for money could definitely be better.
