The best aspect for me personally is the flexibility of my course. Written assessments topics are often able to be chosen by students themselves based on own interest. My department is also very close knit and that means I have much more confidence on speaking up and expressing my opinions. The worst aspect is probably the price on rent. Being so close to London, this is inevitable, but it does mean I have to work alongside my course as the maintenance loan doesn’t easily cover both food and rent.
