Reading Uni is a great place to study. The campus is lovely and Students union is always busy with events on from farmers markets to weekly nightclub. The student support wait list can be long and but the counselling service and disability support was great for me!

This is a great course, I'm so glad i came to study speech therapy here. The content was really interesting and the lecturers are incredibly knowledgeable in their field. The university clinic is the biggest highlight of this course, allowing you to observe and have placements with children and adults with a range of speech and language needs at the university.

I cannot recommend Bridges enough. Although it is a little on the pricey side it is well worth the money. I stayed here during my first year which was the Covid lock-down so i spent a lot of time in my accommodation, having sofas and a proper living space in the kitchen makes so much difference! The staff were amazing, coming to fix anything broken quickly. And we always felt safe.

Guidance and lecture quality is very poor. Reading is not an exciting place to live. Good opportunities to meet people, but the quality of my course and the help available has made my experience a negative one.

No placement support despite using it as a selling point when I visited the university. You have to do everything on your own.

Lecturers aren't willing to help, and do not put effort into their lectures and don't seem to care if you pass or fail their module.

Aren't given any guidance, your success is completely down to you.
