Best bits- a wide range of degree options, taught by the best and most knowledgeable lecturers in their field. The campus is beautiful- an absolute pleasure to visit and study here daily. Halls life in first year was fun and a great introduction to university. A wide range of placements available during term time, although unpaid. The city of Nottingham is a welcome, diverse and fun city for students.

The course was 90% online in first year, 60% online in second year and all in-person in final year. The course contact hours have decreased from 13 hours in first year, to 8 in second and a mere 5 hours in final year. Lecturers are passionate and knowledgeable, many go the extra mile. They truly care about student wellbeing. Lack of guidance on graduate job prospects, not assisted at all with the transition into the work place. Geography building lacks innovation, is not a particularly nice space to learn and study, could definitely do with more investment. Course field trips are wide ranging but a significant extra cost. Could do with more option choices in final year as they felt quite limited. Overall, a good university course.

Cavendish hall provided me with a lovely stay for my first year of university. Rooms are smaller in comparison to other halls and other universities in general, due to the en-suite bathroom taking up space. Hall porters lovely and always attentive to our needs. Internet connection sometimes failed, particularly frustrating when face timing loved ones back home and during online learning, job interviews etc. Food was good enough, menu was updated regularly so there was variety. Lacked options if veggie, vegan, halal or dairy free. Hall in a good location in close proximity to the gym, tram stop, co-op and other halls. Very expensive for what it is- a box room and 2 mediocre meals a day. However, for the classic halls experience and the opportunity to make friends, it is perfect. Very sociable, with regular use of the JCR. With a high price point, can attract a certain crowd and a cliquey culture, but in time, easy to find those more similar to you.

Very pleased overall, job prospects post-graduation were most important when choosing a university. I would recommend to friends and family. Looks good on my CV.

Everything I needed was available, but access to some facilities not as simple as it could be.

Lots of services offered and very useful. Exam support was particularly useful offering advice on how to revise efficiently etc.

Poor. Represents only a minority of the student body and doesn't seem to be as important as it is in other universities.

Perfect city of student living. Lots of bars, restaurants, attractions and sports venues. No matter the interest there is something to do.

Abundant, and pretty much all groups and interests represented. Also the ability to start your own seems to be encouraged.

Mostly very good, although many seemed too focused on their own research.

Found that by having Nottingham University on my CV it helped my chances in gaining a job. Now have a graduate scheme lined up.

Plenty of options and all very good in my own experience. University is not very useful in this process.
