The library is a very useful resource and has lots of materials both physical and online. The lecturers are all very approachable and helpful and you can tell they have a genuine passion for their modules. The students union isn't very useful, often unable to give advice or provide reliable services to students.

Could do with more contact hours

Very dirty, had many maintenance issues, far from the uni.

Lincoln's pretty dead compared to most places - there's not all that much to do throughout the day so you end up staying in a lot. I know that means you get loads of time to do work but first year you don't get much so you're just vegging out a lot of the time. The night life is good, but could be improved - most places just seem the same so I don't really get the point, but there's quite a few little cafe's if you go up the hill. If your family comes to visit, take them up there, most people find it's the best place to take them
