The uni has a library that is open 24/7 which is great, you can book a room for up to two hours a day for meetings/just to study by yourself. There are computers in the library though I haven't had to use them. The computing building has plenty of computers with some specialised rooms, such as the Games Lab. Occasionally, there will be problems with installations on uni machines, i.e. the wrong version of UE5 installed or Visual Studio not working. The Student Centre is good too, it has places to sit/study and also you can access various facilities (Careers, Student Support, Inclusive Support). However, at the start of the year, I was supposed to have been granted disability accommodations, but when when I went to use them they weren't on the system. It took a week of me contacting various people to have them actually added. (Apart from that the support seems good)

The modules have content that is both interesting and good to know. I am currently applying for placements and I am constantly being asked about things that I have learnt about at UCLan, and being able to answer them because of that. A lot of the tutors on my course are very knowledgeable and because of that can provide extra insight beyond what is on the modules plan. Assignment grades often arrive late though, and some tutors/lecturers are not as confident and therefore give subpar lectures. Overall I am very happy with UCLan.
