My overall university experience so far has been a good one- i don’t much like city living and a town experience for me is good. Tutors seem happy to help and there are lots of activities to take part in if so wished.

The facilities are very good, especially the library- if you need a book the university usually has it or they have a scheme to get the book in from another library. There are lots of computers to use and even a laptop loan scheme

Tutors offer office hours in which they are happy to help with any queries, and i’m not too sure about any counselling as I havent heard of it or feel like I need any- it would be nice to know it was there if I ever did need it

The SU at the university is great- someone is always there to help and the hudlets housing is good too.

Huddersfield is a town which is not crime free to say the least, i feel a little scared to go into town by myself however there are lots of shops and leeds is only a short train journey away

There are lots of different clubs and societies which people are very eager to get involved with- the university automatically enrols you onto your academic society which is useful as not everyone might know there is a society for their subject. Improvement could include more trips, visits or guest speakers

Lectures are informative, however I feel seminars could be more helpful and based more on putting into practise what we have learnt in the corrosponding lecture

There is a work placement in year 2, and there are always lots of career fairs for potential future employers

Moderately good- general wear and tear but there is a good maintainence team for any troubles. Could be more modern and updated.

Excellent, great and good so far, getting all the knowledge needed, there is always help available, and am interested and benifiting from my course, satisfied with everything so far
