Francis Close Hall Campus is absolutely beautiful and centred in the heart of Cheltenham. Surrounded by beautiful rolling hills and Cotswold countryside it is a beautiful place to live and study. The facilities on campus are modern and up to date, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The online services are easy to use and helpful. It could be improved if it was easier to commute from halls to campus as when the weather is bad the walk is unpleasant and the bus is slightly irregular. The SU could definitely be improved and there should be a SU bar in the student village. The nightlife is pretty dead but there is enough to do.

The course is taught in person, with all the material also available online which I find extremely helpful. I find the hours quite demanding for a beginner course and there isn’t a lot of 1-1 time with course tutors.

I love Cheltenham. It is very pretty and very laid back. However, there is not a lot of nightlife or student activities

I find it the rooms lovely and having a comfortable double bed in a spacious room is nice. However, I believe they are too expensive for an inconvenient location with poor facilities such as a broken gate and broken laundrette.

The best aspects of my Uni experience is the campus I live on is beautiful and the student help is extremely helpful and kind. The facilities have the precise technology and programmes that I need for my course, and the fact that I can rent out equipment if I need any is extremely helpful. The worst aspects of my Uni experience is not everyone is respectful in the campus accommodation which is hard to deal with sometimes. Roommates are also difficult to be around as some of them aren't kind or respectful of me and my other roommates. Overall this Uni is a great place to study as even though some people in on campus accommodation isn't respectful of other people working or how this is a very anxious time for some people, there are plenty places on campus where people like me can go, like the library which is open 24/7 which is helpful when working late and don't want to be disturbed, especially on weekends.

The best aspects of my course is that the lecture's are extremely helpful and give great feedback on my work. In lessons if we don't understand certain parts of our designs or how something isn't working, or even the technology the lectures are constantly walking around the room and making sure that we understand everything and if we miss an important lecture about a certain task or programme we are using, each module has a 'catchup' session before we put together our final presentations where the lecture asks us if there is something we all particularly want to go over again or individually and they will go over it. For the worst aspects of my course I think my course overall is quite informative to the pieces I am creating and the lecturers are incredibly helpful, but I do wish that the lecturers have more power in lessons, as in my lecture when we are trying to learn something new there is almost always someone talking over the lecturer. Sometimes the lecturer tells them to be quiet but they don't listen most of the time which makes it difficult for me to listen and learn what we are doing this lecture.

What I like most about halls on campus is that it is extremely convenient for me to get to my lectures and back without any long walks or extra money to worry about for busses or any public transport. I also like how close and easy it was to make friends in the villas as we are all together and there are a limited number of us on each floor and building which is nicer to know and doesn't feel to over crowded like Pittville is. The worst part about Uni hall's is that quiet a few people don't respect each other, which is always going to be a problem because not everyone is going to get along. When people go out for the night on week-days and especially weekends its quite easy to hear them coming back shouting and screaming at each other which is quite anxiety inducing for me but I know that my door is locked and I shouldn't be scared. The kitchen is also difficult to use sometimes as, not all of us can fit into our kitchen but also as not all of us like each other and some of us can't be civil we wait for each other to finish in the kitchen before the rest of us go in. As well as this when the other people use the hods in our kitchen they don't clean up after themselves which leads to the hobs getting increasingly dirty as me and my other roommates on this floor don't want to clean up after them. As well as this many of us have gotten ill because they don't clean up after themselves. Overall I am happy with the accommodation that I chose, with its location and the facilities that I can use. Even though some of my roommates aren't respectful of each other and the facilities we were given I am happy with the room that I got. The price on my accommodation is quite expensive and a bit difficult sometimes, I know that with the cost of living it will be steep and I am thankful with all the facilities and help I am given in this accommodation.
