UEA is filled with friendly staff and amazing psychology lecturers that understand the importance of student life and balance, as well they have a lot of experience. It could be improved with less 9am lectures and seminars.

The psychology lecturers have a lot experience within their course and happily share it with us to improve our studies and course management. They are very humorous and make every lecture engaging.

What I like the most about my accommodation is the location. It’s located in a very quiet area and close to everything on campus. What I don’t like is the lack of kitchen supplies in comparison to other Uni halls, for example, we would like a proper oven.

UEA is literally the best place on the planet. I cried my eyes out on the last day of first year- I really didn't want it to be over. If you choose UEA I guarentee you'll think it's the best decision you've ever made by the end of freshers week. My halls were amazing. They were right in the centre of campus so it was a 30 second walk to the LCR on a night out and a 2-3 minute walk to lectures in the day. We were also right off the street so really convenient for the laundrette and shop! I had an en-suite room which was a reasonable size, just face the fact that all uni rooms are going to be slightly cramped, but my shower worked really well and I had enough room for all my stuff. A cleaner comes in every day to empty your bin and check you're still alive and if you're in en-suite accommodation they clean your bathroom for you once a week. Kitchen facilities were a bit tight as we only had one microwave, fridge and freezer between 10 of us but we all tended to eat at different times anyway so it worked out fine really. My course was also amazing. All of the lecturers were really enthusiastic and engaging, and once you finish first year there is a HUGE choice of modules. The workload is manageable as long as you try and keep on top of it. Norwich is a lovely city- there's a lot to do whatever you prefer doing. There are a lot of decent clubs and the shopping is really good. It's very clean and open with a lot of culture such as the castle if you like that sort of thing. The Student Union/ Clubs and Societies can't be faulted really- The SU runs loads of great events/ club nights throughout the year and there are loads of societies to get involved in. Going to UEA will be the best decision you ever make!
