University of Dundee is the best place to study because it is located in a city that has everything a student would need to study and have a student life outside of the uni work. Dundee City is a great place filled with a lot be of students from different backgrounds and everyone is friendly you will definitely feel at home away from home . The uni wraith has alot of very good lecturers who are there to help and listen to any concerns . The university definitely puts students first and they are willing to help you steel settled and help with any concerns you may have . As an international student l was grateful that the university hosts a meet and great for all the international students to help you make friends . It also hosts one of the best scientists and researchers and will be a great place to do a life sciences degree as they are more than willing to guide you into the right direction and help you with any future career plans .

Due to Scotland slowly getting back to normal as per life before covid, blended learning is taking place . All lectures are recorded during live sessions for those students who missed due to any reasons and it ensures no one missed out on any lecture . Course hours depend on the course but the way they are set up is to give students enough time to do assignments and not pile assignments on them . There are pdp sessions were a student advisor will check on the students and take on their concerns to the university or they help if they can . Lecturers can be emailed if you ain’t sure about any content or have any concerns do lecturers are always available to help

Living costs in Dundee is very much on the cheap side of the scale . You can get a very nice flat with a shower room , lounge room , big kitchen with white goods and a big bedroom for as little as £400 or even less . It is the perfect place to be as a student . Everything is within close proximity including the overgate mall . Food is cheap and public transport is very realisable with buses leaving every stop every 5-10 minutes . It is a great place for students and it’s not a big city so you will feel really safe for most people you will see will be students literally

You will have an en-suite room and a shared common area . The rooms are spacious and have a large window/ with a little balcony area. They offer a launderette where you can do your laundry . It is located in a very quiet location and approximately 15 minutes away from the main campus on foot.

I enjoy my course and lecturers, travel from home so can't comment on accommodation or support services.
