It is a great place as there is a lot of student support offered for any kind of problem you're having, offering great counsellors as well to talk about personal enquiries. They answer all the questions you ask, providing the most amount of support possible. The only improvement there could be would to organise the enrollment process to the university more as it was a bit chaotic. Nonetheless, the enrollment process was still smooth.

Sometimes it takes a bit of time for lecturers to respond to emails. However the course structure is nice and offers a variety of skills that you can learn during the course. Lecturers are there for personal advice and help and are always happy to repeat what was said during feedback sessions.

Currently i am in my 3rd year (of 4) and really enjoy studying at the university of Cumbria. Lecturers are friendly and approachable. They know you by name and not a number which Is something you may not get at larger universities. The campus is fairly small but I think this is a good think as you get to know lots of familiar faces. its no secret that the accommodation is slightly out-dated now and could do with refurbishment however, you get what you pay for (which is cheaper than the prices at many unis) and you get everything you need. Toilets/ bathrooms are communal but you get used to it. Lancaster compared to many cities is relatively small but for a night out its not bad, The 2 main clubs are Sugar house and elements but there is also lots of other bars to go to like Yates, mint, Weatherspoons (which there's 2 of) and hustle, just to name a few.
