Friendly and welcoming campus- small campus but I think this is a positive as you are get to know many people and it has more of a community feel. I think accommodation is the only main downside however this is set to change with plans to rebuild some of the halls. Lectures and Tutors- small classes means there is more one-to-one contact with tutors. Tutors are always willing to help. Seminars are practical and enjoyable.

i think that the University of cumbria is an excellent university, even though the closest thing to it i have experinced is college, the lecturers fit in well for my course snne as they have all had experience in the field of policing, the good thing about this is that they can share there experiences with the class, a down side is that some of my fellow students dont take some aspects of the course seriously such as presentations.
