The university campus is really nice, it is also quite small which gives it a real community atmosphere. The lecture halls are modern and the lecture material is engaging. I moved here from Portsmouth and did not know anyone when I arrived, but I have made a lot of really good friends that I will have for a lifetime. There is a lot of support available to students and part-time work as well.

Library is open 24/7

Some of the clubs are good, but Preston is only a small town so don't expect too much. However, it is very cheap for a night out (about £20)!

I live in non-en-suite accommodation, which I didn't think I would like at first but now I like living here because it is a lot cheaper so I have more money for going out and eating. I have been to the accommodation in IQ, and although it is really nice, it is also very expensive. I'm only ever in my room when I sleep and study.
