I’ve enjoyed my uni experience a fair amount even with the issues of covid . I love the city and I love the campus, my tutors are fantastic and that’s what makes it so worth it for me the italian department is next to none it honestly just feels like a family I’m very lucky

We have translation suites and they’re currently organising printing presses which is amazing

Honestly it’s not surprising that this university has poor mental health, long waiting times, high work load etc.

I get a fair amount of contact hours, more than friends on other courses. I have a really good relationship with my tutors who are always available for one on one support. Spanish is taught in a much less organised way than italian.

The language's department is really big so you're always meeting new people. There are nice communal study spaces and events. The teachers are enthusiastic and make you feel comfortable making mistakes in class - which can be difficult for some. They offer extra support in their office hours too. The location is great as there are many study spaces for all different types of learning.

In final year its a good blend between independent study and in-class lectures. There's lots of prep for classes but it feels manageable

Good location and facilities. Was a comfortable stay. Wasn't too far from uni but offered a change of scenery
