The political science and international studies team is great and provides excellent support for students while putting on a number of good events. The location of the uni is pretty decent, not right in the city center but easy to access by train. Being a little outside of the city does mean that on nights out you have to get an uber/bolt back which can be a bit annoying, but the student bar/club on campus is great and there some pubs and bars nearby. The campus itself is (mainly) really attractive (there are a couple of buildings that haven't aged well) and there are plenty of study spaces.

All content this year has been in person which has been really nice considering I'm a first year - it's made it really easy to meet people on my course. The majority of the lecturers are great - they teach well and are approachable. For my 4 modules we have 6 hours of lectures and 3/4 hours of seminars per week. The best part about the course is there are no exams - only assessments where we can chose from a selection of topics/questions based on the topics discussed in the module.
