Overall my experience has been really good. I’ve enjoyed learning a lot in this fist half a year and am enjoying the variety on my course. I’m a little sad that we’re not able to meet our tutors and classmates in person at the moment, and I find making connections really difficult at the moment. I also found my course to be quite disorganised for certain topics, but I do understand that it must have been difficult to change the curriculum to online in such a short space of time, so I’m positive this will get better as the course goes on.

Excellent facilities! That’s actually what drew me to my course in the first place, the wide variety! At the moment I haven’t been able to make the most out of them, due to COVID. But I have done a few workshops and the spaces are clean, and the equipment (although confusing at first) will definitely become easier to use the more I’m able to go in to use it.

I joined a well-being group for a few weeks and did some well-being drama which was fun! I do think this is something I should explore further for if I need any support later in my course.

My course started off in October as a blended course. But no, due to the stricter COVID rules, it’s not online for this next term. We have 1 to 1 catch-ups with our tutu it’s every so often, so it’s handy to be able to raise any queries or concerns with them then.

At the moment I’m only in my first year, so am far off having any career service activities etc. But I did attend a talk from one of the placement ladies at my uni and she was able to answer any questions we had. I would like to see some more guest speakers though, even this early on in my course.
