Its a small university so student support from lecturers and other students is easily the best part of Abertay. There is also plenty of events on to either have fun or learn something new.

My course is a mix of online and in person, I find this works well for me as it provides the flexibility I need along side the ability to speak to lecturers face to face. The work can be completed at my own pace and I can do as much or as little as I need to. There is always support available from lecturers when needed. In terms of placements it is still too early within my course for that .

I have stayed in the student accommodation for first year, It is convenient as it is only minutes away from the university. I have made many friends from being able to stay and socialise. However, I have discovered that I am not keen to stay away from home and I am not exactly student accommodation material. It is also a lot of money, but for the security and location it is not to bad.

I am loving life away from home for the first time it is a big step up but I'm glad that I did it. My course is great with all my lecturers being very easy to chat with and willing to help. Take the leap otherwise you will regret doing it.
