So far my experience has been really positive especially when it comes to feedback and support as well as the content of work. The lectures have been really understanding when we needed help and the radiography facilities were always open for our use.

Placements allow us to gain the experience with patients we will need when qualified.

Overall experience so far is good. Work load and placement/uni/life balance is tougher at times but plenty of support available from staff, library and other students.

Plenty of choices for places to eat/drink/gets snacks. Library is excellent and has been recently refurbished. Gym on site.

Tutorials available before assignments and feedback is always thorough. Tutors and staff are willing to help with work that you are struggling on.

Not much involvement due to heavy work load.

Town centre very close by for shopping, eating out etc. Lots of bars and restaurants around the uni.

Only experienced the Midwifery society but plenty of choice for clubs.

I enjoy how the theory/science lessons are followed up by a practical session to apply these to clinical practice. I least enjoy studying an entire research module each year.

Our course is organised into 50% theory and 50% placement and many of our lecturers are still practising within midwifery. We have a great partnership with the trusts that we will hopefully progress to for employment.
