So far UNI has been challenging but interesting. Knowing each term is a closer step to achieving the qualifications I want and a step in the right direction of my chosen career path gives me determination to meet my goals.

Very good, the library has plenty of places to study and there are labs for the biomechanics I need to study.

For certain subjects there is great support whereas some teachers have a different approach leaning more towards self teaching, which can help in the long run however is a great struggle to complete assignments.

It is a great way to bring people together for several activities. It is also good to compete in competitions for the football team.

I have lived in Middlesbrough all my life and love it. The UNI is right next to town so is easily accessible for everyone.

Plenty of clubs and societies which everyone can partake. Things for everyone no matter what hobbies they have.

It is interesting learning from all different angles about the human body, sports coaching techniques and self teaching myself through journals a professionals opinion and studies on sports performances and injuries. This will help me further develop my career.

The course I am doing is developing my skills to further my career by teaching me the ethics and conduct to follow when coaching or teaching. The different modules of biomechanics, sports coaching and research methods are giving me a better understanding of all fields of learning. The biomechanics gives a much better insight of movement in athletes which a coach could analyse and enhance performance. The anatomy has helped to understand injuries which may occur and in what muscles and bones when playing sports and also how to treat them. The sports coaching has taught me how to deal with an injured child or athlete. Overall all the modules combined have helped to put myself in the shoes of a professional sports coach which I inspire to be.

My experience has had it's ups and downs but I have enjoyed being here overall
