Bay campus is a bit of a trek to get to but overall the University provides everything you would need from a good teaching faculty to an eventful night out.

Course doesn't teach everything that you would want it to but the prospects of getting a good career out from studying in Swansea university is relatively high

The coastal location is brilliant, as well as being near some amazing countryside, but with all the convenience of living near a city! In terms of study, the library has everything you could need to get a few hours of work done, and once you are finished you can go to one of the cafes or the SU Bar on campus. Excellent face to face support from lecturers, and lots of time in the lab!

Excellent face to face support from lecturers, and lots of time in the lab! However, some facilities are getting a bit dated, but that doesn't impact learning.

Swansea is a great place to live, with lots of varied activities taking place, obviously you have the town centre, which is exactly what you would expect. A lot of shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and bars etc. You also have Mumbles and the Gower right on your doorstep (sometimes literally!), where you can enjoy nature and the wonderful beaches. Public transport is available at various times, including a bus that runs 24 hours a day between the campuses (correct as of Nov. 2022), however, they have seen recent unreliability due to a driver shortage, and the buses fill up quickly, so you need to be getting them early.

Maintenance generally prompt, several issues throughout the year, but these were sorted eventually.
